Give More, Love All: Christmas Presents for Children in Need
We placed postcards in the back of the building this weekend to help over 140 children in need this holiday season. Amazingly, all the cards were already taken. This weekend we will have cards for the mothers of the children from Chiles Academy. We are requesting $25 Wal-Mart gift cards to help make their Christmas a little brighter.

You can donate diapers sizes 2,3,4 or 5 to Beachside for Chiles Academy.
Ministries for Christ Outreach is requesting help gathering supplies to distribute in October. If you are able to donate any of the following items that would be great: Ramen noodles, PB & J and/or toilet paper.

On July 4th, after our Saturday night 5:00pm service, we will host another “Salty?” event!
Please join us at The Beachside Church at 7:00pm. We will organize into groups to distribute water bottles to the crowd of over 15,000 people gathering at the Granada Bridge for the fireworks celebration.
Our plan is to make a connection with the people we meet and encourage them to live Salty. The goal of this project is to point people to this site, where they can share ideas and inspire others to live out Mathew 5:13, and make a difference.
Just a reminder of our project we have our first two salty projects coming up this Friday, June 12th and Saturday, June 13th. You won’t want to miss them!!
JUNE 12th – Socks and Shoes Giveaway @ 11:00am:
The Daytona Outreach Center is organizing a shoes and socks giveaway for those in need. We are excited to support this mission by giving the shoes and socks needed.
All this week at Beachside, bring a pair of socks and shoes to our office for this cause. You can drop them off at the Beachside office Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Volunteers are needed and welcome on Friday to help pass out shoes. Any questions please call Adrienne Boyle at 386.562.0713.

We will all meet at the Beachside facility at 9:30 A.M. From there we will split up into teams that will go up and down the beach in Ormond. The plan is to hand out free water and encourage people to “make a difference” as we talk with them. The event will conclude with a cookout at noon at the Granada approach. Please invite the people you meet to the cookout.

Here’s the deal. This summer The Beachside Church is launching this project called “Salty?”. Basically it’s a way for us to live out Matthew 5:13a that says, “You are the salt of the earth”. As the Beachside church we want to make an impact in our community. We often ask ourselves the question, “If The Beachside Church ceased to exist today would anyone notice or care?”.
Here’s the challenge: For you and your family to think of creative ways to practically spread the love of Christ in our community. How you do it is up to you. Throughout the project we’ll be giving you examples and ideas. However, you are not limited to these and we encourage you to come up with fresh ideas of your own.
Here’s where we’ll help you: We are going to plan a couple events that we want you to be a part of. These are ways for our entire church to work together in making a visible impact in our community. We will supply you with special “salty?” cards to hand out as well as t-shirts that carry the “salty?” theme. Our goal is to do something simple and practical that will show people we care for them.
Event 1 – Giving out Water: On June 13th we will all meet at the Beachside facility at 9:30 A.M. From there we will split up into teams that will go up and down the beach in ormond. The plan is to hand our free water “just because” to whoever wants it. The event will conclude with a cookout at noon at the Granada approach.
Event 2 – During our worship services on the weekend of June 13th/14th we will be giving our entire offering away to missions.
Event 3 – July 4th Celebration in Ormond. We will again distribute free water at all 4 corners of the granada bridge during the July 4th celebration.
Each weekend at The Beachside Church we’ll continue to “unpack” more about this project. Stay tuned….
